Justyna Maria Porowska was born in Opole, Poland, in 1991 and currently lives in Switzerland. In 2010, she graduated from the Jan Cybis Gymnasium and Secondary Art School in Opole, majoring in scenography. During her school years, she mainly worked with still life and landscapes of her native landscape. After graduating from high school, she decided to major in engineering architecture at the Opole University of Technology and then completed her Master in architecture at the Warsaw University of Technology. Her art is characterized by economy of technique, play of texture, issues of light in paintings and realism in depicting mundane subjects.
